I watched the video and attempted to bind a quilt this way. Leaving the 3/8 inch batting on did not work for me and neither did stitching all the way to the edge like she did. This caused the corners to not lay right. Apparently, I didn't do something right or didn't understand what she was doing. I will not attempt to bind a quilt using her methods again. Someone let me know if it works for you and what you did to make it work.
